Aid Foundation will work with relevant agencies such as Kaduna Ministry of Health Nigerian Disease Control Department World Health Organisation to fact check misleading information about corona virus.
We will contribute our expertise in cushioning the effect that the virus will have on the citizens in Kaduna and Nigeria It is no longer news that
Kaduna State government and a few other states have imposed a 24 hour lockdown and restrictions on all citizens except those on essential services in a bid to slow down the spread of the corona virus.
No doubt many will suffer, but it is better to prepared for the worse and hope for the best. Consequently, The Nigerian Government should URGENTLY plan for palliatives that will help the most vulnerable in society cushion the effect the lock down will have on them.
It is important for citizens to know the contacts of their Disease Control and State Epidemiologist as it is not normal protocol for NCDC to deal with citizens directly. They will still refer you #StayAtHomeAndStaySafe
We urge the President Mohammed Buhari Government to work with the remaining state governments to also consider an immediate lockdown of the entire country. The spread of COVID19 is on the increase and those that test positive today are a reflection of our situation 7 – 10 days ago.
